Hi all, I have some great news I'd like to share! I got my first talking phone for christmas! I had a previous phone, but it was not accessible. I think it was worth the wait to get a phone like this one. I can text message, send email, and check my caller id, and much more.

Cool Download 87 I had a cell phone last year, but I wasn't able to use it. It had this button on the side you could tell it say call so and so and it would do it. It had a British woman doing the voice over but that's all I could do it! I had to have my cousin Rosie add my contacts! Once I got it stuck on mute and my sister couldn't fix it! I ran up the phone bill my cousin Arlina said I could call my friends when ever I wanted!

Austin, I got a nokia 6620 with a software program called talks. My service provider is cingular wireless. The phone and software cost $400, but it's so worth it. I think out of all the talking phones out there, it's top of the line! Also, I get a 200 dollar rebate.

To put more icing on the cake, I can text message and send email without being near a computer. I can set certain ring tones to certain contacts, schedule appointments and tasks, and take down phone numbers with ease. Also, I have voice dial and all I have to do is say "call so and so" and it will call it. Voice dial is a service, like 411 is. I can use the service with ease and accessibility. I was using my phone quite eficiently in about a day, and can type quite fast on it as well. I wouldn't trade this phone in for anything. I remember the last phone I had. I couldn't look up numbers, I had to dial numbers manually, no texting or email, no caller id, it was no good for someone who was blind. I got this new one for christmas, and it was the best christmas gift yet.yay for talks software!
